Industry leadership, innovation, and integrity have been operational hallmarks for Texas Architectural Aggregate, Inc., incorporated in Fort Worth, Texas on August 3, 1960 by Joe R. Williams, A. E. Eismann, and John B. Potter.  Its initial goal was to create a better source of architectural aggregate for the terrazzo and cast stone trades. Marbles, quartzes, and granites from the varied mineral formations of the Llano Uplift area in the Texas Hill Country, later increased with similar mines in far West Texas, are still milled to exacting specification for increasingly varied markets. Naturally occurring qualities and colors have been selected to match or enhance architect, engineer, designer, and consumer choice.
